Over 130 research and extension proposals, along with completed extension activities, were presented for evaluation during the two-day Annual In-House Review (AIHR) held at Ifugao State University (IFSU) on November 23-24, 2023.

The AIHR provided a platform for researchers and extensionists to present their work and receive valuable feedback from external evaluators. This aligns with IFSU's commitment to fostering a strong research leadership and culture.

Dr. Marissa P. Bulong, Vice President for Research Development and Extension, representing University President Dr. Eva Marie Codamon-Dugyon, commended the faculty members who actively participated in the AIHR.

She emphasized the importance of embracing this event as an opportunity for refinement and growth. Dr. Bulong encouraged researchers to welcome constructive feedback that will propel their research endeavors forward.

A total of 15 Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources (AANR) proposals, 24 Social Sciences proposals, 33 Education-related proposals, and 12 Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology (IEET) proposals were presented. Additionally, 46 proposals were presented for the Extension/Development Projects category.

Extensionists also presented seven (7) completed extension projects. Lorna C. Ildefonso's project, "Bayanihan to Heal as One: SPA for Ej: Soap Provision and Allocation for every Juan," was selected as the best paper. Regina B. Mendoza's project, "Information Dissemination and Psychological Support to Rape Victims and Social Handners of Rape Victims in Alfonso Lista," received recognition as the second-best paper.
