Students of the Master’s and Doctoral programs of the College of Advanced Education (CAE) at Ifugao State University (IFSU) were trained on the basics of writing research at the IFSU Heritage Convention Center on December 10 and 17, 2022.

Spearheaded by Dr. Michele J. Dulay, a faculty member of CAE and Director of the UNIFast Office, the “Research Capability Enhancement of Stakeholders,” aimed to train participants to write full-blown action and basic researchers that adhere to gender-sensitive and politically-correct guidelines.

Faculty members of the CAE discussed the different parts of a research proposal and completed research. Dr. Marites D. Bumidang discussed the thesis proposal's Introduction, or Chapter 1, which includes identifying research gaps; and formulating working titles, objectives, and the significance of the study. Dr. Generose S. Ognayon enlightened participants on the parts of Methodology or Chapter 2. Dulay talked about Information Communications Technology (ICT) tools and reliable links as credible sources of information. Moreover, Dr. Alma C. Binwag guided participants through the IFSU graduate school proposal and completed research formats.
