It was graced by stakeholders, government officials, and community leaders.

IFSU University President, Dr. Eva Marie Codamon-Dugyon, represented by Lamut Campus Executive Director Nathaniel F. Dimog, underscored the University's commitment to this noble cause in providing education, skills, and/or training to equip the program beneficiaries in preparation for their community and social reintegration and shall provide necessary assistance for the program beneficiaries to be able to seek out economic and livelihood opportunities after the reformatory program, as stipulated in the MOU.

Balay Silangan, which translates to "House of Hope," stands as a beacon of hope for individuals seeking recovery, healing, and renewed hope for a brighter future from substance abuse.
