Hannah O. Badong, a 2nd-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing student at Ifugao State University (IFSU), bagged fourth place in the photography competition at the 2024 Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) National Culture and the Arts Festival.

The competition, held on 24 April 2024 at the Philippine Normal University, Manila City, saw Badong representing the entire Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR). She faced off against representatives from different regions across the country.

Badong qualified for the national competition after clinching the gold medal at the Cordillera Administrative Region Association of State Universities and Colleges (CARASUC) Athletic Meet and Socio-Cultural Festival in 2023.

She was guided by her coach, Mr. Jericho Patrick S. Torres, a photographer and videographer at IFSU. The team was led by Ms. Lalie Vic A. Cawilan, University Director of the Department of Culture and the Arts.
