A Robust Network Infrastructure Towards A Smart Campus

IFSU successfully implemented a campus area network that connects all six campuses through a grant from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED)

This network connectivity will empower educators to employ various teaching methods and engage students by harnessing the potential of technology. It will encourage a culture of bold and innovative teaching, leading to higher standards of excellence. Embracing technology in education is both cost-effective and efficient, as learning is now driven by technology.

The establishment of a robust ICT infrastructure enhances an institution's capacity to provide high-quality education to its primary clientele, the students. Simultaneously, this will optimize the effectiveness of all internally developed university information systems in delivering services to all clients, with a particular focus on students.

This technological advancement promotes unrestricted access to resources for both students and faculty, irrespective of gender or socio-economic status, fully harnessing the internet's potential.

All six campuses’ internet bandwidth was upgraded with Additional 50 Mbps leased line with different Internet Service Providers (PT&T and PLDT) through GTE wireless technologies. Each campus has the following upgrade:
