Ifugao State University (IFSU) clinched second place among 14 entries in the Reverse Pitching: Regional Sustainability Hackathon held as part of the 2024 Cordinnovation Week Celebration organized by the Department of Science and Technology-CAR at the University of the Cordilleras in Baguio City on April 23-25, 2024.

The winning project, titled "Mapping Agricultural Products Harvesting Optimized Development (MAPHOD)," is a collaborative effort between IFSU and the Alfonso Lista Local Government Unit (LGU).

Presented by Warren Paul Bumidang, Florence Nawew-Bahni, Don Ognayon, and Glenn John Fernando, project MAPHOD tackles pressing concerns identified by Mrs. Eleanor G. Lucas, representative of LGU Alfonso Lista.

MAPHOD specifically targets three (3) areas: improving economic opportunities for farmers (SDG 1: No Poverty), and promoting environmental conservation (SDG 13: Climate Action) through effective waste management (SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production).#Faith B. Napudo
