CCS faculty, students train public teachers on computer skills


To enhance computer manipulation skills using Microsoft Powerpoint and other interactive teaching materials, the College of Computing Sciences (CCS) faculty and volunteer students capacitated 60 Master Teachers of the Department of Education-Ifugao Division on February 7-8 at Highlander Hotel, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya.

Ms. Lannie May Santos, Ms. Alma Cablinan, and Mr. Warren Ligmayo, CCS faculty members, served as the Resource Speakers. Along with them were the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) students, namely: Johncel Guman-gan, Jasem Rigor, Bianca Cansino, Litodane LoƱez, and Bernice Ada Bunolna who provided technical assistance to the participants.

On the other hand, Ms. Dhayen Lobhoy, and Ms. Myle Melody Corpuz, also CCS faculty members, discussed the same topic with the Teachers of Asipulo National High School during their In-Service Training (INSET) on February 6-7. With them were BSIT students Eve Pugong, Christine Kate Dillagan, Rechina Beleran, and Albert Lingayo who assisted during the event.
