Pres Dugyon presides 1st Univ Research Council Meeting


The Ifugao State University (IFSU) Research Council holds their first meeting today at the Center for Foreign and Japan Studies to revise and craft policies for the University.

In her chairperson’s privilege speech, Dr. Eva Marie Codamon-Dugyon, said that, “This is an appropriate time to support and contribute to the improvement of our University’s research policies.”  

President Dugyon added that, “2019 is also the last year for the coverage of the SUC leveling. We need to exert more effort, more collaboration and support to our researchers to complete their outputs and researches. This is a challenge for us.”

The Research Department will be one of the offices and departments that will be subjected for ISO Certification in the coming months. With this, the University President encouraged the cooperation and support of the different offices and departments to achieve the University’s Research Agenda.  

The meeting also discussed policies on revision and crafting including the implementation of University’s approved researches; on publications and presentations; incentive policies and professional service contract; and research priorities.#
