Dr. Eva Marie Codamon-Dugyon, President of Ifugao State University (IFSU) and Regional Chairperson of the Cordillera Administrative Region Association of State Universities and Colleges (CARASUC), led the CAR delegation at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) National Culture and the Arts Festival.

Held on 23 April 2024 at the Philippine Normal University, Manila City, the festival carried the theme "Bidlisiw: Paghilom, Pagbangon, at Pagsulong."

The opening ceremony was graced by Senator Pia S. Cayetano, PASUC President Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo, National Commission for Culture and the Arts Chairperson Hon. Victorino M. Manalo, Manila City officials, and representatives from all regions across the country.

IFSU’s Performing Arts Group also represented the entire Cordillera region in the Indigenous Dance Competition. Additionally, Hannah Badong, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing student from IFSU, showcased her talents in the photography competition.
